NVQ Level 2 Health and Safety for the WorkplaceWho is the qualification for?All employers, regardless of their business, have a legal duty to ensure that their staff is trained in health and safety to an appropriate standard. Employers who take this responsibility seriously and use nationally recognised qualifications stand to make their business a safer place to work, benefiting from increased productivity due to lower absence rates and perhaps even lower insurance rates. What are the entry requirements?There are no entry requirements or age restrictions. It is open to any candidate who has the potential to meet the requirements of the course. How is the course assessed?Each unit is assessed by a practical assignment. There is a multiple choice assessment which covers the knowledge and understanding of four of the units. The assessment can be taken online or paper based. The delivery of the training will be tailored to your requirements and may take place at our training facility in Stockton‐On‐Tees, Middlesbrough or on site at your premises. What are the benefits of obtaining this qualification?Developed in consultation with employers the qualification is compliance driven and reflects current legislation. It is a generic course which is ideal for inductions and suits every sector, while providing valuable information on current health & safety legislation.
