Streetwork Excavations & Reinstatement (Certificate for Operatives and Certificate for Supervisors) Levels 2 & 3Who is the qualification for?This course is designed to raise awareness of the dangers involved in excavating on public highways and private land and train operatives to detect and avoid most buried apparatus. What are the entry requirements?There are no entry requirements. How is the course assessed?An examination through multiple choice questioning. (paper-based) & observation How does this qualification improve my career prospects?By providing a nationally recognized qualification of competency for the industry and allowing the learner access onto industrial sites with the obtaining of a CSCS Card. What will I study on the course?The course is flexible and allows the learner to ‘pick & mix’ units according to preference and job requirements. There are 9 units applicable to operatives (Units 1-9) and 8 units applicable to supervisors (Units 1, 10 – 16). An operative who has achieved Unit 2 also attains a prescribed qualification. Unitary certification is available for each successful unit completed but there are 10 full Street Works qualifications available within the framework .* * The range of full qualifications is available on request. Units: 1-16 are listed.
